- We have secured a 3-year contract with a major international chilled food manufacturer. This contract involves one of our Caddy vehicles collecting samples daily in the Cornwall area, seven days a week, 365 days a year. These samples must arrive at the destination within 4 hours of collection at the very latest, which can be quite challenging for our team at times, particularly during the summer months!
The collected chilled samples are transported to a lab in Bath for analysis. To ensure the integrity of the samples, we use state-of-the-art chiller boxes, as the samples have a limited shelf life of only five hours before analysis must be completed. This means we have a narrow delivery window of just 4 hours from collection in Cornwall to delivery at the lab in Bath (150 miles)
We are proud to report a 100% success rate with this operation after more than two years. In fact, in excess of 95% of those journeys have been completed within 3 hours, allowing the lab more flexibility to complete their work on time.

- We have also been engaged by the NHS for the last 8 years to carry out a daily collection from a hospital in Bristol for delivery in Newcastle upon Tyne, 5-days-a-week.
We have a bit more of a forgiving delivery window for these loads of 8 hours; however, we are currently working with a 99% success rate of completing this load within 6 hours daily.
In fact, our drivers are so committed to getting the job done, on one occasion during the Covid lockdown, our driver even completed the journey well within time on the back of a recovery truck after an unforeseen breakdown (yes, it can happen to the best of us, no matter how much you look after your vehicles!) leaving the van immobilized, before having the vehicle recovered to the local main dealer and the driver flown home!
